Productive Playhouse is seeking Swedish Transcribers to join our transcription team in our Orlando, FL office! Interested in working for a growing company with great work-life balance in a position with no walk-ins, customers, or phone calls? Come apply with us today!

**Productive Playhouse is willing to provide temporary relocation assistance for this position. Length of relocation assistance: 2 - 12 weeks. What is covered: Travel, lodging, and daily meal stipend provided. Weekly hours required to qualify: 30 hours minimum per week. Job Types:  Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour

What You Will Do

Swedish Transcribers will work in the office listening to audio recordings in Swedish via headphones and transcribe (type) what is being said using proper Swedish spelling and grammar. Elements transcribed include speech (sometimes frequently overlapping), background noises, and music. No translation is required in this position.

Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• Swedish as a primary language
• Ability to understand a wide variety of Swedish-speaking accents
• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
• 50 WPM typing speed preferred
• Strong language skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for punctuation, grammar, and spelling
• Ability to learn and adapt to our client’s style guide and written domain conventions
• Strong research skills for accurate spelling of names, locations, and products
• Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week
• Able to wear masks as we navigate the ever-changing nature of COVID
• Transcribers must be able to comply with social distancing and PPE requirements (including wearing a mask while working and frequent hand washing) until further notice. Hand sanitizer and additional PPE materials will be provided and available on-site.

Please note:  Due to our client’s strict data security policies, applicants should be aware that personal items, including electronics such as phones and other electronic devices, will not be allowed in the workspace. Any personal items will need to be stored in provided lockers outside of the actual working environment. Employees are able to leave the workspace to use their phones outside the office if needed.
