Job Description

Seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. SEO specialist with the ability to work across multiple client types including early stage, growth, and Fortune 500s. You will serve as an SEO expert for a variety of accounts across a wide array of industries. As the SEO Manager your role will be to work side by side with the Director of SEO to help lead the agency’s accounts and SEO team to success measured by improving clients’ KPIs.

  • Most recent role is an SEO manager or Sr. SEO specialist at an agency.
  • 5+ years of SEO specific work.
  • Have managed at least two employees at an agency.

SEO Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategy (onsite, offsite, content, & technical)
  • Responsible for SEO audits of all types (technical, content, keyword, etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of technical SEO, including site speed optimization, hosting ramifications, HTML optimization, image optimization, minification, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of onsite SEO, including internal linking, page structure, URL structure, etc
  • In-depth understanding of offsite SEO, including external linking, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of WordPress and SEO tool such SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, KWFinder, and Screaming Frog
  • Represent Bullseye as an SEO expert by demonstrating SEO knowledge, strategies, and tactics during client meetings
  • Provides analysis on monthly and quarterly reporting for SEO clients
  • Train co-workers on SEO (onsite, offsite, content, & technical)
  • Assist Director of SEO with managing the team and/or freelancers

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant digital agency experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in SEO, demonstrating expertise and a deep understanding of the field
  • 1-2 years in a leadership role, with experience overseeing team members and fostering growth in a collaborative environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Outstanding internal and external communication skills
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to different types of inquiries
  • Be a fast, flexible, and effective problem solver
  • Analytical
  • Be proactive and self-motivated
  • Demonstrate the ability to work quickly and efficiently with various internal and external resources
  • Strong goal orientation and a love for seeing a project completed
