Role: Oracle Finance Functional Consultant - General Ledger Expertise

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL) to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in assessment, implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, specifically within the General Ledger module. You will work closely with business users to understand their requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in Oracle Financials assessment, implementations and upgrades, focusing on the General Ledger module.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional designs and specifications.
• Configure and customize Oracle GL modules to meet business needs.
• Develop and deliver training to end-users on Oracle GL functionality.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle GL issues.
• Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain functional documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and configuration guides.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Financials and other systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Financials releases and best practices.
• Proactively identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
• Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work closely with business users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
• Deep understanding of Oracle General Ledger functionality, including setup, configuration, and reporting.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) or Oracle Cloud ERP Financials. Minimum 2+ Oracle EBS Financials or Cloud Implementations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical 1 and non-technical audiences.

Salary and Other Compensation
· The annual salary for this position is between $112,500/Year to $132,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
· This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
