These are part time, event related positions. No set schedules or hours.POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for patrolling all areas of property and security doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and contract labor while on premises; securing property during move in/out of events.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESSecures propertyLocks and unlocks facility doorsConduct routine property walksDirect guests through metal detectors, to seats or other locationsResponds to emergency situationsInteracts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employeesSecured the safety of all individuals on the premisesAppropriately deals with 'unruly' peopleWorks independently, and judges and assesses situations for immediate responseSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED requiredSKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong customer service skillsGood written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including managementProfessional presentation, appearance and work ethicAbility to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as neededMust be able to speak, read and write EnglishMust have professional attitude and appearanceMust be at least 18 years oldPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping, and possibly heavy lifting.
