Abonmarche is seeking an Architecture Intern in our South Bend, IN office.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Architecture Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in architectural design, drafting, project development, and construction documentation. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about design and innovation.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts.
• Prepare detailed drawings, models, and 3D visualizations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or Twinmotion.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and assist in project documentation.
• Research building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Support senior architects in preparing presentations and client proposals.
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, designers, and project managers.
• Assist in material selection, specifications, and sustainability analysis.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas.

• None
Work Experience/Qualifications:
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion or Twinmotion.
• Strong design and visualization skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Passion for architecture and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
