This hybrid role will be responsible for both designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and translating those designs into functional and responsive web experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills, and proficiency in front-end development technologies. You will be involved in all stages of the product development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities (Design – Approximately 50%):

• Collaborate with product managers and client stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Develop and maintain UI style guides and design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
• Ensure the accessibility and usability of all designs.
• Help assist Art Director with digital media asset creation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Responsibilities (Development – Approximately 50%):

• Translate Figma designs into developed websites
• Implement user interfaces and user experiences using Elementor and Unbounce (required).
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for speed and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed features to ensure functionality and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end related issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a role combining UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both design projects (wireframes, mockups, prototypes) and developed web interfaces.
• Expert proficiency in  Figma  (must provide examples in portfolio - interactive prototypes preferred
• Extensive experience working with  Elementor  (must provide examples of Elementor-built sites).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS (including preprocessors like Sass or Less), and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive design principles and techniques.
• Must be  local to the Boise, Idaho area  and able to work in a  hybrid environment  (combination of in-office and remote work).

Bonus Points:

• Experience with other website builders or CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with  Adobe Creative Suite  (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience with user analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Experience with CRMS (Salesforce, Wordpress, Webflow)
• Experience with Mailchimp
