The Lead Person plans, organizes, helps staff, directs, and controls the warehouse activities. Assisting in the selection, training, and motivation of the workforce are key responsibilities. The Lead Person is accountable for helping to achieve company objectives in regard to safe workplace, properly trained work force, labor cost efficiency, employee productivity, customer service, efficient storage, accuracy and clean food grade warehouse.

Available Shift: Weekend 1st Shift: Saturday to Tuesday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm ($21.50/hour)

The successful candidate will:

• Require flexibility to cover our different shifts to accommodate business needs.
• Sustain all processes implemented for sorting orders using the FIFO method.
• Have at least 3 years' experience within a distribution center.
• Successfully communicate with co-workers and customers both in writing and verbally with fluency in the English language.
• Participate in a team environment focused on hard work and fun.
• Have a valid forklift permit or pass the written test/obstacle course for forklift certification.
• Work independently and follow procedures/work instructions.
• Have prior success building, leading, and directing a team to meet business metrics.
• Train team members in safe equipment operation and maintenance.
• Be able to perform calculations including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
