Job Title: Warehouse Associate -2nd shift
Location: Rt. 41 & Martin Luther King Driv North Chicago Illinois 60064
Duration: 12 Months of Contract
2nd Shift- 1.00 pm to 9.30 pm
Pay Rate $22.31 on w2(without benefits)
Job Description:
Exposure to working in a quality and controlled material environment. Experience: Strong Work history 2+ years in previous roles. Forklift Certification/ Experience a plus - Cherry pickers - Order pickers - Pacer/Dock stocker - Turret Trucks Preferred Experience: Distribution experience a plus; 3PL experience a plus Key Skills: Demonstrate attention to detail; Demonstrate reliability and initiative; Safety focused Shift Details: Monday-Friday 1pm-9:30pm • New hires: One-week training on a split shift 10am-6:30pm Steel toe shoes are required in the warehouse *Important note; New Hires are required to complete Abbott’s forklift training before they would be allowed to use the equipment. This could take up to 6 plus months. all candidates should be aware of this policy. *Site is seeking candidates flexible to work overtime
Will be performing warehouse job duties such as counting, sorting, and recording of large, heavy-weight stock. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ year previous experience. Performs warehouse operations on the Receiving dock, picks orders, packs order and/or helps with dock processing.
