About the Role - UX/UI Designer

We are looking for a UX/UI designer to join our team. You will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our products and our clients’ products. You will translate users' needs and business requirements into simple, intuitive solutions through research, ideation, prototyping, testing and wireframing. The ideal candidate will have a masterful eye for design detail and craft extraordinary interfaces for products and projects that we launch. Reporting to the Director of Design, you will work alongside other designers, project managers, and developers to assist in building intuitive and accessible products.

Candidates must be based in the Greater Vancouver Area.

Responsibilities

• Create delightful and intuitive products, holding the user at the centre of the experience
• Meticulously craft UX flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Be involved in user testing sessions to validate design concepts and informed assumptions
• Create design deliverables, including production-ready UI assets, specifications, and intended behaviours
• Work closely with the development team to ensure signed off-UI design is implemented successfully
• Present design decisions with a clear rationale to the team and clients

Skills/Qualifications

• 3+ years of post-graduation experience as a UX/UI designer
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates your understanding of user-centric design
• Have an inquisitive mind and be open to navigating through ambiguity and designing for complex problems
• Being able to adapt and pivot on the fly as projects and initiatives move quickly at TTT Studios
• Ability to lead small-sized (3-8 weeks) projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple smaller initiatives simultaneously
• Proficient with industry-standard software such as Figma, ProtoPie, Miro, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to seek and appreciate feedback and continuous design improvement
• You are a self-starter with a growth mindset

Bonus Skills

• Experience in an agency where everything moves fast, timelines shift, and requirements change
• Experience with design thinking workshops, whether it be through leading facilitation or participation

Hiring Process

• If shortlisted, you will be invited to a video interview with our HR Manager.
• We will arrange a virtual interview with the Design Team to discuss your skills and fit for the role, as well as your alignment with our company culture and values
• The next stage will be a take-home task that will contain all the necessary instructions, followed by a final interview where we will conduct a Design Thinking scenario.
• After conducting all interviews, we’ll come to a decision.
