Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Peoria, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

• 1+ years of surgical tech experience required
• BLS (American Heart Assoc.) required
• IDPH Fingerprinting required
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology OR Certificate of completion of Surgical Technology program required
• Must write, read, comprehend and speak fluent English
• Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser required
• Multicultural sensitivity required
• Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions required
• Schedule: DAYS; M-F: 7am-530pm
• Call 1-2 nights/week and one weekend a month
• Must be available for on-call hours outside of schedule work-hours, including after-hours, weekend and holidays
• Must respond to on-call contact in the time frame defined by department policy
• Must adhere to assigned weekly, weekend, and holiday call shifts per hospital policies and protocols
