**Job Title: Behavioral Health • LVN/LPN • Mids**

**Location:** Waco, TX

**Overview:**
Join our client's team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a behavioral health setting. This role involves providing care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical or behavioral health issues. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation and patient education.
• Perform data entry and maintain electronic medical records.
• Adhere to facility procedures and standards, including ICF•IDD Regulations and HHSC Standards.
• Support the care, treatment, and welfare of residents with intellectual and behavioral health needs.

**Qualifications:**
• Active Texas LVN/LPN Licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant nursing role.
• At least 1 year of experience in a facility setting for individuals with intellectual disabilities or medically fragile individuals.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with HHSC immunization, drug testing, and fingerprinting requirements.
• Ability to float between units as needed.

**Schedule:**
• 13•week contract with potential for extension.
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2 pm • 10:30 pm.
• Orientation includes 6 weeks of training, with sessions starting every two weeks.

**Additional Information:**
• COVID•19 vaccination required.
• Agency nurses may be required to float to different units based on staffing needs.
• Must provide two professional references from different workplaces.
