Job Description

Candidates MUST have relevant spa experience. All other applicants will be denied. Gaia Spa is a rapidly growing membership-based luxury day spa located in Weston, Florida. We are currently seeking a full time Spa Manager to work with the Spa Director.

Spa Managers are responsible, but not limited to, ensuring all guests meet the Gaia Spa standard of customer service excellence, logging inventory, following up with membership sales and cancellation requests, training front desk receptionists, and helping to continually improve the front desk quality of service.

Compensation:

Annual Salary is $80,000. Bonus opportunities available.

Hirees will receive a complimentary package including a 50 minute signature massage, 60 minute signature facial, and one 45 minute Sauna session. Afterwards, employee is eligible for a complimentary massage or facial each month. All employees are also eligible for a 50% discount on all services based upon membership pricing and 15% off all products.

Responsibilities

• Developing strong, trusting, and warm relationships with new clients and answering inquiries.
• Answering phone calls and messages to book guests and resolve the needs of our guests.
• Book and edit appointments on the spa software system.
• Successfully pitching the membership program while also training the rest of the staff to be successful in their roles.
• Ensuring back of the house responsibilities are being met.
• Ensuring all side work and opening / closing procedures are met.
• Maintaining Inventory
• Upholding hygiene and cleanliness of the spa to our standards.
• Monitoring daily transactions each shift for compliance and accuracy.
• Training new hires and leading continual trainings to maintain high quality of customer service.
• Informing the director of any updates or relevant information each shift.
• Resolving guest / member issues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Relevant experience in management of spas.
• Able to pass a background check
• Must be able to multi-task and remain organized.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the team.
• Proficiency in computer skills and display a willingness to learn.
• Reading, Writing, and Oral proficiency in English is required. The same skills in Spanish are preferred but not required.
• Well groomed, engaging, and energetic.
• Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
