Job Description
This position performs general security, routine office, and light duty maintenance and custodial
services for the Henlopen Condominiums daily between the hours of 4:00pm to 12:00am and/or
12:00am to 8:00am.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The security staff’s main responsibility will be making rounds providing assistance to owners and
residents to help ensure their safety. The purpose of these rounds will be to document all
physical and operational items and situations that are not in compliance with the organization's
standards for cleanliness, effective operation, and safety.
In addition, this position will perform
several light custodial duties to ensure the lobby and elevator vestibule carpets are clean and that
trash rooms are kept clean and orderly, and that the trash compactor rooms are operating
effectively. Duties will also involve administering security cards and unit keys to authorized
individuals and contractors.
The security staff will also have the responsibility to monitor owner, tenant, and contractor
compliance with the Henlopen’s “Rules of Conduct” and the “Henlopen ABC’s”.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
No prior facility management experience required.
REQUIREMENTS
The security staff will possess the ability to work in cold and hot weather; the ability to move
objects fifty pounds or less; the ability to stand or sit for sustained periods of time; and the ability
to interact with owners, renters, contractors, and the public in a courteous and professional
manner.
Maintain a valid Delaware driver's license.
