Retail/ Tasting Bar Associate

SUMMARY

Finestkind Brewing is looking to add to their amazing Retail & Tasting Bar team. The retail store and tasting bar are located at our brewery in Hampton, NH. The Retail & Tasting Bar Associates are the front lines in articulating about our beer, our company, and our events. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Smile! You will be welcoming our brewery guests
• Ensure that every customer receives prompt and exceptional service
• Performing tasks related to upkeep and organization, including the rearranging of shelves, stocking beer, changing kegs, cleaning of the store and products, etc.
• Assist customer selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions on beer and merchandise offerings
• Pouring and serving beer at the tasting bar
• Maintain knowledge of Smuttynose current beer and merchandise offerings
• Process payments by totaling purchases, processing cash, credit cards and gift cards
• Ensure that all goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
• All for one and one for all! You must be a team player to be part of the Smutty team.
• Follow all safety and security procedures

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• Friendly outgoing demeanor
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Highly organized
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• A minimum of one-year experience in the retail or hospitality industry
• Knowledge of the beer industry is preferred
• Neat appearance
