The Physical Security Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the Physical Security Program across our global organization. This role plays a vital role in protecting our company's personnel, assets, facilities, and reputation while ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of physical security principles, risk assessments, security technologies, and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a complex global environment. The Physical Security Manager will report to the Global Director of Enterprise Resilience and Physical Security. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days in office each week, based in our corporate headquarters in Chicago. Responsibilities include program management, defining global physical security standards and policies, safe and secure office design, site safety and security assessments and mitigation, access and security systems management, safety training and awareness, travel safety, compliance, public safety cooperation, security project management, incident management, investigations, contract management, and security and risk advisory. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field, minimum 5 years of experience in physical security management preferably in financial services, industry certifications preferred, knowledge of physical security systems, understanding of legislation and security regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and project management experience, emergency planning and crisis management experience, and willingness to travel internationally. Work outside normal business hours will be periodically required.
