Physical Security Manager

Description:

The Physical Security Manager will play a key role in the operation, management, training, and administration for the Global Security team in the AMERICAS region.
Responsibilities include executing day-to-day security management, acting as the main liaison between security and regional stakeholders, developing and implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, managing security teams, and ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
The manager will work closely with various departments to promote the safety and security of employees, assets, and operations.
They will lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, manage and mentor security professionals, develop and enforce security policies and procedures, design and deliver training programs, oversee security systems, conduct investigations and reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

Experience in day-to-day management of physical security measures such as reporting, investigations, event coverage assignments, access control, and emergency response.
Ability to foster relationships with site-assigned points of contact (POCs) and provide remote assistance as needed.
Experience with implementing strategies from senior management, especially maintaining security measures including access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
Management of on-site contract security teams and site-level problem solving.
Required skills include incident response, team oversight, collaboration with other departments, training staff, technical knowledge of access and monitoring systems, reporting and investigations, and familiarity with local security regulations.
Ideal candidates have a proven history in security management, leadership, interpersonal skills, operational expertise, communication, initiative, technical proficiency (including Microsoft Office), and familiarity with security systems.
