Job Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at Catalyst Physician Group, you will play a vital role in our mission. You’ll provide direct patient care and support clinical operations, all while being part of a purpose-driven organization passionate about making a positive impact. Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Function independently to perform a broad range of medical services, including:
• Conducting patient assessments
• Taking age-appropriate history and physicals
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests tailored to patient needs
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications appropriately
• Conducting annual exams and minor procedures
• Educating patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
• Documenting encounters in EMR
• Providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care delivery
• Ensuring adherence to care quality standards
• Following clinical safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Collaborating effectively with a diverse team of professionals

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Texas license and certification
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program
• Experience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic setting
• Knowledge of current clinical practices and standards
• Proficiency with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and EMR systems
• Understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making

Preferred Experience

• 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in a Primary Care outpatient setting
• Experience with Athena EMR
