Job DescriptionThe Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a full-time tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor or Professor with our neuroscience research group. For this position, areas of focus include, though are not limited to, epilepsy and movement disorders. Also expected will be participation in basic science training for medical students and residents.
About MU Neurology:
MU Department of Neurology offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care in areas such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, comprehensive cerebrovascular disease, neurological intensive critical care, and headache. In addition, we have expertise in various subspecialty areas, including pediatric neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuropathology, neuro-rehab, and multiple sclerosis.
We have a strong relationship with Neurosurgery and PM&R as part of our comprehensive Neurosciences Service Line. This includes three functional neurosurgeons and one pediatric neurosurgeon. Fully integrated epilepsy and movement disorders program continue in their growth and development.

Minimum Qualifications: Fellowship trained BC/BE MD/DO Or MD/Ph.D. Or Ph.D. Researcher
Candidates will be evaluated on: post-doctoral experience and qualifications in research. Have an outstanding research program and provide research training for undergraduate and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in their expertise.
