This position is temporarily located at Store #271- 17232 North Village Main Boulevard Lewes, DE 19968 for training purposes. In late 2025, this position will be located at new store-address in MIDDLETOWN, DELAWARE 19709. The Meat Manager is responsible for promoting excellent customer relations, taking customer orders, cutting and trimming product, developing merchandising plans, scheduling and training associates, managing inventory, verifying deliveries and invoices, controlling department expenses, maintaining product freshness and quality, ensuring sanitation and safety compliance, and supervising associates. The role includes handling customer concerns, setting up displays, weighing and wrapping merchandise, maintaining logs, and cooperating with co-workers and superiors. Supervisory responsibilities include managing associates and potentially assuming total leadership in the absence of store management. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, with 3 years' management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket environments preferred, and meat management experience preferred.
