GDIT is seeking a J unior Full Stack Platform Engineer with a hunger for supporting an evolving cloud development and hosting platform to join our Cloud Platform team supporting the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
In this role, you will work alongside talented full stack and infrastructure developers and engineers as part of an Agile platform team to support software delivery and application hosting using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your primary focus will be on testing, supporting, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining features across all layers of our platform stack. You will be expected to participate in regular scrum ceremonies, collaborate with senior engineers, and contribute to the implementation of robust and reliable services and APIs. You will also engage in knowledge sharing with the broader Platform Team, enabling the successful use of the services we build and maintain. Additionally, you will apply best practices in version control, containerization, and CI/CD deployments, practicing DevOps skills daily to help maintain and update the system we develop.
This role is hybrid with 1 day onsite in Rockville, MD. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
