Why You Should Join Our Team:

  • A Career with Growth: We believe in your potential and offer an intentional, charted plan for your personal and professional growth with us. We invest in our employees and foster a culture of learning and development.
  • Competitive Pay & Benefits:
  • Starting pay: $22-$32/hour , with offers based on experience.
  • Retirement planning with a 2% match through an IRA.
  • A monthly health plan stipend of $400 to contribute toward the plan(s) of your choice.
  • Generous paid time off : 2 weeks in year one, 3 weeks in year two, and 4 weeks by year 10!
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy consistent hours from 8 am – 4 pm , with most days finished by mid-afternoon and the occasional overtime (about 5 hours for larger projects).
  • Additional Perks:
  • Uniforms and a company vehicle provided for onsite appointments.
  • Opportunity to travel for occasional out-of-state installs , giving you a mix of local and more extensive travel projects.

A Snapshot of Your Role:

As our Installer: Drapery , you will be responsible for installing window coverings, including blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, and motorized shades, primarily within the Indianapolis region. You'll work closely with our warehouse and operations team to ensure all installations are perfectly prepared and executed.

A Day in the Life:

  • Morning Prep: Begin your day at our Indianapolis warehouse at 8 am to prep your company vehicle with necessary materials for scheduled appointments.
  • Installation & Service: Head out to client locations (residential and business) for installations or service calls. Each appointment typically lasts 60-90 minutes, though larger projects may take more time.
  • Client Interaction: As the face of our business, you will engage with clients on-site, measure spaces, set expectations, and communicate with design coordinators and the operations team to ensure smooth execution.
  • Problem Solving: You’ll actively troubleshoot and address challenges as they arise, ensuring top-quality results with confidence.
  • Occasional Travel: Every few months, you may have the opportunity to travel for longer installations, including out-of-state projects, expanding your skill set and experience.

What We’re Looking for:

We need a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and approaches each project with a solutions-oriented mindset. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and love solving problems on the fly, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience & Skills:
  • A background in interior design or a related industry (experience with window treatments is a plus but not required; we’re open to training the right candidate).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders comfortably.
  • Comfortable with heights – no fear of climbing ladders or working on elevated surfaces.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Tech-savvy, with an interest in learning about motorization and smart window treatment solutions.
  • Personality Traits:
  • Curious and driven – you’re eager to learn, take initiative, and find solutions.
  • Customer-focused – you thrive on providing exceptional service and representing the company professionally.
