Exciting New In-House Role for one of our corporate clients in WPB!

Are you an attorney seeking to leave law firm billable requirements, but still love M&A work? If so, I have an excellent opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Contract Drafting & Negotiation:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with service providers, wholesalers, vendors, etc..
• Ensure contracts align with company policies and comply with legal and regulatory standards.
• Support the renewal and amendment process for existing agreements.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory compliance, including data privacy, consumer protection, and travel industry regulations.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations that may impact business operations.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
• Support the resolution of contractual disputes with suppliers and partners.
• Work closely with external counsel when necessary on litigation or arbitration matters.
• Ensure enforcement of contractual rights and obligations.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, including terms of service, privacy policies, and operational agreements.

Required Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
• At least 1 year of experience handling corporate transactions (i.e., contracts, M&A, due diligence, IP).
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to conduct substantive contract review, manage negotiations/discussions with prospective partners, work cross-functionally with operations and finance departments regarding contracting work, and manage contracts.

Preferred Skills

• Preferred experience in technology (i.e., SAAS, AI).
• Preferred experience working with a publicly traded company
