Role description:

Raise brand awareness and augment business growth by developing and implementing high-impact SEO strategies. This is a Global Role, Location Agnostic.

This role is critical in driving Arcadis‘ online visibility and organic business growth by ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in international search engine performance. As an SEO Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering measurable results by scaling SEO strategies globally and within target market sectors and regions.

Reports to Global Performance Marketing Director; part of the Digital Marketing Centre of Excellence

Role accountabilities:

Develop and execute global and priority region SEO strategies Lead the development of the overall SEO strategy for Arcadis, creating a measurable plan that enhances the SEO performance of Arcadis‘ website inclusive of technical SEO, keyword strategy, content optimization, and authority-building efforts. Improve search performance for Arcadis‘ relevant themes and keywords to generate demand, drive brand awareness, and increase website traffic.

Analyze and optimize SEO performance Maximize organic traffic and improve SERP rankings for Arcadis‘ priority sectors and solutions. Ensure the global and regional application of SEO best practices. Oversee the implementation of structured SEO programs to drive consistent and measurable results. Lead on reviewing SEO data, providing actionable insights, and plans to continuously improve SEO performance and inform our overall digital marketing strategy. Conduct thorough research on trends, monitor channel performance, and analyze competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.

Provide domain expertise and leadership Lead a team of SEO specialists working on on and off-page SEO implementation. Bring domain expertise into collaborations with content creators across the Marketing and Communications function to ensure SEO is front-of-mind when creating content strategies. Work hand in hand with the paid search team to align SEM strategies. Provide training, domain expertise, and guidance to the global digital content team, ensuring SEO is embedded in digital content creation processes. Act as a business partner, liaising with and educating business stakeholders regarding SEO optimization to enhance the performance of digital content in support of growth objectives.

Enhance operational processes and establish SEO governance Develop and refine operational frameworks, guidelines, and training materials to ensure consistency and the efficient adoption of SEO best practices. Establish and maintain global SEO governance to ensure digital content creation stays aligned to growth priorities and target markets.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor‘s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Demand/Lead Generation, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including 2+ years in a global or international SEO management role; relevant certifications in Google Analytics and SEO are a plus. Advanced knowledge of technical SEO, including site structure, sitemaps, server-side SEO, site speed optimization, and related areas. Expertise in Content Marketing and Website Development. Proven experience managing end-to-end global SEO programs in complex B2B organizations; experience within Arcadis‘ key industries is an advantage. Familiarity with international SEO challenges, including regional search engines and local search behavior. Proficiency in leveraging data for fact-based decision-making and actionable insights. Experience in utilizing technologies relevant to SEO and digital marketing. Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $94,944 - $145,580. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
