Job Description

ETL Tester senior Virginia Hybrid Experience: 7+ years

• The tester must have solid experience and knowledge in ETL testing, End to End testing (creating test cases, executing test cases and data validation), Informatica IDQ, Data testing, Postman or similar, any automation testing frameworks, SQL querying and manual testing.
• Knowledge of Informatica suite of products (like Informatica MDM and PowerCenter) is highly preferred.
• Reporting tools experience is nice to have.

Must Haves: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data related resting - Emphasis on manual testing, but must have some hands on experience with automation as well. Experience with Informatica suite of products is mandatory (IDQ is a must, MDM and PowerCenter are preferred) Proficiency with advanced SQL querying is a must. Strong preference for at least some exposure to Atlassian suite (ex: Jira). Requirements:

• Can understand business requirements.
• Write and execute test cases manually or using automation.
• Analyze results of tests, defects tracking and management, report status and recommendations for modifications to test plan and/or schedule.

Familiar with agile methodology.

• Supporting systems integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Creating and documenting test strategies/plans and test cases/scripts.
• Familiarity with Informatica IDQ and MDM tool functionalities.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Thorough understanding of ETL processes.
• Experienced in presenting test results and other testing artifacts to stakeholders.
• Experience with: All phases of testing
• System testing
• SIT and UAT
• Hewlett Packard's ALM (Quality Center) version 11.0
• Testing tools
• Microsoft Visio
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) TechnoGen
