Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator. Responsibilities include preparing and operating printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures; performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output; preparing inks for proper color and consistency; checking paper for type, size, color and quantity; checking plates for correct format; visually inspecting forms throughout run for quality; coordinating with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates; maintaining knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment. Shift is 2nd Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:00a. Requirements include ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances, high degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail, high degree of mechanical ability, good reading ability, ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, regularly required to remain stationary, constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials, frequently required to move inside the facility, regularly move up to 25+ pounds. Preferred qualifications include High School Diploma/GED, ability to work with very close tolerances, ability to effectively communicate with team members, high degree of analytical skills, good color discernment.
