Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of a dedicated workforce supporting essential operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $21+/depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Operate various heavy machinery, including forklift, payloader, hook truck, and excavator in a recycling center.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed while performing equipment operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage recycling operations.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience operating forklifts, payloaders, hook trucks, and excavators.
• Ability to work the night shift, Sunday through Thursday from 11 PM to 8:30 AM.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in heavy machinery operation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
