Director of Housekeeping

An award-winning, ultra-luxury resort in the Southeastern U.S. is seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead a large-scale operation across multiple buildings and guest areas. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a diverse team across guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations spanning a campus-style resort environment.
• Ensure Forbes-level execution of cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.
• Develop SOPs, training programs, and quality assurance measures to maintain elite service consistency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Office, Engineering, Spa, and Rooms leadership.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and departmental budgeting.
• Cultivate a positive, respectful culture focused on team development , detail orientation , and guest satisfaction .

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Prior Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star experience in a luxury resort or hotel setting (required).
• Strong background overseeing campus-style operations with multiple guestroom buildings, villas, or cottages.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in high-touch environments.
• Deep understanding of luxury housekeeping standards , linen management, and public area care.
• Hands-on, approachable leadership style with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience implementing QA programs and continuous improvement processes.
