Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital TV Marketing Manager to join our team at City Mattress. As the Digital TV Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive media strategies to enhance our brand visibility and drive business growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in media planning, buying, and execution across various channels. The Digital TV Marketing Manager is focused on integrating digital marketing strategies with traditional television advertising, creating targeted campaigns across both online and TV platforms, managing connected TV (CTV) advertising, and using data to optimize reach and engagement on television through digital means. This position reports to the VP of Performance Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with VP Performance marketing and to develop multi-channel media budgets.
  • Develop and execute innovative media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement. Recommend media outlets designed to achieve the marketing goals of increased brand awareness, traffic, and sales.
  • Plans, negotiates, and traffics all media buys across all channels (CTV, OTT, broadcast and cable TV, YouTube), from initial annual planning to in-flight adjustments.
  • Analyze media performance metrics and provide insights to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
  • Proven experience using digital media to successfully grow brick & mortar retail businesses, including experience with multi-channel attribution tracking with brick & mortar retail.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure City Mattress remains at the forefront of media innovation, including weekly recaps of competitive highlights.
  • Performs post-buy analysis of all schedules and placements to ensure compliance and approves all invoices for contracted rates and rotation.
  • Assists in proofing of advertising materials.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience as effective media buyer and media planner.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data including drawing, communicating, and executing actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and deadlines in a professional, relationship-focused, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Expert knowledge of current media research tools.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, and other industry-standard marketing tools.
  • Travel to all markets is required as needed.
