Experience: 1-3 years of credentialing experience in healthcare staffing.

Job Summary:

The Credentialing Specialist plays a critical role in the healthcare staffing process by ensuring that all healthcare professionals meet compliance and credentialing requirements. This position involves verifying licenses, certifications, and credentials while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and client-specific guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and process credentials, licenses, certifications, and other required documents for healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and client-specific regulations.
  • Conduct background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks.
  • Track credentialing expirations and proactively obtain renewals.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals to gather and update necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate with recruiters, compliance teams, and healthcare facilities to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all credentialing records in the system.
  • Prepare and submit applications for provider enrollment with hospitals and insurance networks if required.
  • Stay up to date with changes in credentialing and compliance regulations within the healthcare staffing industry.
Qualifications & Requirements:

✔️ Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred.
✔️ Experience: 1-3 years of credentialing experience in healthcare staffing.
✔️ Skills:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing and compliance requirements.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in credentialing software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
