About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) to lead and manage the implementation of its diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The CDO will be responsible for overseeing the college's compliance with affirmative action and equal opportunity policies, ensuring that all recruitment and selection processes are in line with EEO/AAP standards. This role involves serving as the college's Title IX Coordinator, developing and presenting educational programs on diversity and inclusion, and leading the college's DEI Council. The CDO will also be tasked with investigating discrimination complaints and collaborating with various college entities to address incidents of bias, discrimination, and harassment. Applicants for the Chief Diversity Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those holding a JD degree and having a background in employment law. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in EEO/AA and diversity, experience in conducting investigations, and a strong understanding of regulatory laws and requirements. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a college or university setting. The CDO will be expected to manage the office of equal opportunity and diversity, create and implement diversity and compliance programs, and ensure a climate that fosters respect for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
