Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location: Robbinsdale, MN

Salary: $22.23 - $27.37/hour (based on years of experience)

Shift: Days | 80 hours per 2-week pay period | Shift range: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking two Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to join a clinic team in Robbinsdale, MN. This full-time, day-shift opportunity focuses on managing patient flow, supporting providers, and delivering quality patient-centered care across all age groups from infants to geriatrics. The role includes both clinical and clerical support functions and emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and compliance with state practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Support patient flow and provider assistance throughout the clinic
• Perform rooming, immunizations, injections, medication administration, and specimen collection
• Depending on clinic and specialty, may assist with:
• Telephone triage
• Prescription refills
• Phlebotomy and lab tests
• X-ray duties (if certified)
• Facilitating communication between patients and providers

Clinic Support:

• Check-in/front desk assistance
• Supply ordering and restocking
• Prior authorization support
• Complete delegated duties under supervising nurse/provider

Compliance and Collaboration:

• Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements
• Protect patient confidentiality
• Demonstrate ongoing competency and participate in skills updates
• Communicate effectively with Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and care team

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to perform outlined clinical tasks within scope of practice
• Proficiency in patient care documentation and clinic systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
