Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and Execute Practice Strategy

• Define the vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for the banking domain practice.
• Align the practice goals with overall company objectives, focusing on market expansion and innovation.

Thought Leadership

• Serve as the face of the banking practice by participating in industry events, publishing whitepapers, and conducting webinars.
• Drive internal and external knowledge-sharing initiatives to position the company as a thought leader in the banking space.

Business Development

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

• Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives in banks and financial institutions.
• Identify opportunities for expanding business, leveraging existing networks and partnerships.

Sales Enablement

• Collaborate with sales teams to craft compelling proposals, pitches, and solutions tailored to client needs.
• Support deal negotiations and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Domain Expertise and Innovation

• Comprehensive Knowledge of Banking Operations: Deep understanding of retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, payments, lending, trade finance, risk management, and compliance.

• Regulatory Acumen: Strong grasp of banking regulations, industry standards (e.g., Basel III, PSD2, AML/KYC), and their implications on business operations.

• Market Trends and Insights : Awareness of trends like open banking, digital transformation, AI in banking, blockchain, and the rise of fintech disruptors. Stay abreast of trends, regulations, and disruptions in the banking industry, including fintech innovations, digital banking, open banking, and AI-driven transformations.
• Solution Development

Lead the development of innovative solutions addressing core banking, payments, lending, risk management, and compliance challenges.

Work closely with technical teams to create scalable, secure, and regulatory-compliant solutions.

Delivery Excellence

Project Oversight

• Ensure the successful execution and delivery of banking-related projects, maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Monitor project KPIs, budgets, and timelines.

Resource Management

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of banking domain consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Partnerships and Alliances

Ecosystem Building

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players, including fintech companies, software vendors, and regulatory bodies.

Alliance Management

• Collaborate with technology partners to co-develop solutions and leverage their expertise in scaling offerings.
