About Our Client
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established commercial real estate firm in Austin to find an Assistant Property Manager. This role offers the opportunity to support property operations across multiple locations, assist with project oversight, and maintain strong tenant relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in commercial property management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily property management functions, including tenant communications and lease compliance
• Assist in overseeing maintenance, vendor contracts, and operational budgets
• Coordinate and track capital improvement projects, ensuring completion within scope and budget
• Manage service requests, work orders, and property inspections to maintain building standards
• Support financial operations by processing invoices, monitoring expenses, and assisting with budget preparation
• Help oversee lease agreements, tenant billing, and collections processes
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, environmental initiatives, and property policies
• Plan and execute tenant engagement initiatives and events
• Provide after-hours support for property-related emergencies when necessary
Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years of experience in commercial property management
• Familiarity with building maintenance systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with property management software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required • Valid driver’s license required
Additional Details:
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
• Travel: Willing to commute between locations in Austin
