The Felician Sisters of North America is hiring a part-time Accounting Manager to work at our administration office in Beaver Falls/North Sewickley Twp, PA (north of Pittsburgh). This position will average 25-29 hours per week and offers a flexible hybrid/remote setting after the initial training/orientation onsite in Beaver Falls.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $40.00 - $45.00. The pay rate/wage will be determined by factors such as the candidate's relevant work experience, certifications, qualifications, and internal equity.

Summary:
The Accounting Manager ensures the integrity of accounting information by reviewing, verifying, and posting transactions. This position supervises the accounting staff and is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and other accounting activities for the organization.

Employees in the convent homes care for our sisters directly as nurses (RNs/LPNs), and nurse aides/ CNAs. Other positions provide indirect care as dietary staff, housekeepers and maintenance workers. Additional departments provide operational support through Finance, the Office of Mission Advancement, Communications, Development, Human Resources, Program Outreach and IT. The Felician Sisters also focus on vocation, growth of ministries and have the mission of the “spiritual renewal of the world” through their actions, publications, social media and continuing to serve where they are needed.
The Felician Sisters is a congregation of women religious, inspired by the spiritual ideals of their foundress Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska and Saints Francis of Assisi, Clare of Assisi and Felix of Cantalice. Founded in Poland in 1855, the first Felician Sisters arrived in North America in 1874 to minister to the immigrant and indigenous families of Polonia, WI. They established eight provinces across the United States and Canada. In 2009, they united the eight provinces into Our Lady of Hope Province, allowing for a more strategic use of resources. Pioneers of social services, the Felician Sisters founded and continue to sponsor hospices, schools, childcare centers, hospitals, after-school programs, homeless shelters, food pantries, nursing homes, affordable housing communities, and missions in Haiti and Canada.
